Embroidered Memories
With Textile artist, and shop owner Jessie Chorley
At Susan Clark Interiors 113 Humber Rd SE3 on Sat 5th and Sunday 6th October 2013 (10am until 4pm)

£75.00 per person this includes at small pack of essential materials for the workshop.
Once booked on the workshop,you will also be sent a materials list of items to bring with you on the day.

Spend a day in the cozy basement of Susan Clark Interiors being inspired by the work of Jessie Chorley
During this special day Jessie will shown you how to work with Hand embroidery, applique and collage to create your very own embroidered memorie.
You will leave at the end of the day not only gaining knowledge of the three above techniques, but also with your own textile treasure to keep for ever.
You will have the opportunity to create something small to wear like a brooch,or something to place in your home like a little sampler or cushion.
All ages welcome Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Make an Embroidered textile Treasure

A one day workshop "Be inspired by Jessie's unique style as you create a textile story brooch or treasure to wear or display. Through simple hand embroidery,applique and collage using a needle as a drawing tool to embellish or add a message" you will be provided with a small kit at the beginning of the workshop with essential materials for the day ahead.

A Hand tied Christmas Saturday November 2nd 2013... Join Jessie on the run up to Christmas 2013 to create beautiful and unique hand made Christmas cards and decorations.....
 You will be given the opportunity to work in a very hands on way to create simple items that will make your home made Christmas complete. We will be using simple techniques of print, paper machet and hand embroidery.

Once you have booked on to this workshop you will be provided with a requirements list for the day.
At the start of the workshop you will be given a small kit which is included in the price of the workshop fee.
