You are all invited to our Summer Tea Party here at 158a Columbia Rd

Join us from 11.ooam-5.30 for some delicious home made cakes and refreshments and take this opportunity to see what we have been up to at the shop this Summer

We will also be designing a summer window display for the event which will include some items from people who have attended our creative workshops here at the shop in the past plus once again a chance to win 3 lovely prizes from our Raffle which you can enter on the day

Make what you wish Thursdays at 158 a Columbia Rd

Make what you wish evenings at 158a Columbia Rd

Join us both at the shop on Thursday evenings from 5pm-9pm

 Welcoming all makers of any ability come and join us around our little table in the back of the shop and bring your knitting,sewing,darning or card making to work on while we chat and discuss the days events.

Entry fee is £5.00 per person which includes Tea and Coffee and cakes and use of our basic materials, ie scissors,glue,vintage fabric scraps,papers, buttons etc.

Please note there is no tutoring from us as we will also be busy making our work but we are more than happy to all come together to discuss ideas and techniques.

No booking required just turn up on the Evening with you making basket.

Our first Make what you wish evening will start on Thursday May31st

We look forward to seeing you then or on another Thursday  in the near future

Country Living Shoot

Shop booklet available now instore and on our online shop

Its ready and waiting

Our first little shop book which contains 8 pages of beautiful images from our shop and also of our work.

Each book is hand bound in recycled card by us with a rag tie to the spine and hand printed to the front with our shop stamp.
Each book is a signed limited edition and this information is hand written by us on the back of each book.
Inside the book there is a hand printed envelope containing 3 free postcards for you to put up at home or send to a friend
The booklet is A5 in size available now online at our shop or in store at 158 a Columbia Rd

Also we are just penciling in the shop diary a date for a Summer tea party in August so we will reveal the finer detail later this month

J&B The Shop Book

Above and below a sneaky peek at whats to come from us early next week

We have been busy collecting together all of our favorite photos to produce a little book about us as two makers and our collaboration at 158 a Columbia rd. The little booklet will come with a little envelope snuggled amongst the pages with some of our post cards featuring images of our work.

Also included is a map drawn for us by Emma Lewis.

Each book will be a complete one off as we are hand decorating the covers and hand binding each one with rags and string.

We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as all the finishing touches are complete

Wroclaw, Poland

I've just finished setting up and exhibition in Poland (as part of the Dialogue Collective, which i'm a member of) an had the best time. We were there for 3 days and it was pure bliss! we were blessed with sunny weather too. I'd like to share some pictures i took over there and my work in the gallery...
